The Tidewater Modular Railroad Club is a private nonprofit club. It is organized to promote educational, charitable and fellowship activities related to model and prototype railroading, and the history of each.  We are proud to be the only 100% National Model Railroad Association club in Virginia. 

 

TMRC was formed in 2009, as a private club. We model in HO scale, the ratio being 1:87.

 

We have a compact traveling layout that can be seen at area libraries, schools, museums, recreation centers, nursing homes, and convention halls for railroad related exhibitions.

This is a tool for us to interact with the public to introduce the hobby and provide entertainment to those of all ages.
